Circulating DNA extraction from plasma or serum requires efficient recovery of short cfDNA fragments while minimizing background genomic DNA contamination. Magen provides a set of circulating DNA extraction systems developed for these workflows, combining silica membrane column technology and magnetic bead-based purification to accommodate different plasma input volumes and laboratory processing formats.
Within this system, the HiPure Circulating DNA Kit (IVD3182) represents the column-based configuration designed for controlled vacuum or centrifuge workflows with plasma inputs up to 5 mL. The MagPure Circulating DNA Maxi Kit (IVD5435) serves as the magnetic bead platform for higher-volume plasma processing and automation-compatible workflows. Together these systems form the core extraction technologies within the Magen circulating DNA portfolio.
For a broader view of how these technologies fit into the Magen cfDNA workflow system, including route differences, processing logic and downstream application orientation, see the cfDNA Extraction & Enrichment Workflows page in our Technical Solutions section.
