Plasmid DNA Maxi Prep Kit | FastFilter Clarification

Introduction

HiPure FastFilter Plasmid Maxi Kit extends the standard plasmid column workflow to 100–200 mL bacterial cultures and recovers up to 1 mg of routine molecular-biology-grade plasmid DNA. The dedicated FastFilter clarification step removes neutralization precipitates from the larger lysate volume before column loading, reducing the handling burden associated with conventional large-scale lysate clarification.

P1014 is the upper-scale product within the standard non-EF column branch. P1013 provides the corresponding FastFilter workflow for 25–50 mL cultures, while HiPure Plasmid Mini Kit (P1001) remains the core product for routine standard plasmid preparation. Laboratories requiring endotoxin-free DNA at maxi scale should move to P1156; high-copy workflows requiring milligram-scale endotoxin-free production may select P1116.

Storage and Stability

The kit components can be stored dry at room temperature (15-25°C) and are stable for at least 24 months under these conditions. If any precipitates form in the buffers, warm at 37℃ to dissolve. After addition of RNase A，Buffer P1 is stable for 6 months when stored at 2-8°C.
