Introduction

MagPure Plasmid EF Mini Kit is the magnetic support branch within the low-endotoxin plasmid portfolio. It combines plate-based magnetic separation with EF-oriented purification chemistry for laboratories that want low-endotoxin plasmid DNA but prefer automation-compatible handling over single-column manual preparation.

In practical use, this workflow is better suited to medium- to low-copy plasmids, especially when low-endotoxin preparation and reduced RNA interference are both important in batch or plate-based processing. P1814 extends the EF system into a magnetic bead format for automation-oriented laboratories. For manual EF preparation, users should refer to HiPure Plasmid EF Mini Kit(P1154) or HiPure Plasmid EF Maxi Kit B(P1156B) depending on required scale.

Engineering Characteristics

EF-compatible magnetic branch

The workflow applies high-salt–mediated low-endotoxin binding chemistry to the magnetic format, distinguishing it from the standard P1811 route and helping reduce RNA interference in the final plasmid preparation.

Defined magnetic binding boundary

The system has a practical single-run binding limit of around 25 μg, which makes it better suited to medium- to low-copy plasmids than to very high-output high-copy workflows.

Batch-friendly and automation-oriented

The manual is written around deep-well plate handling, magnetic separation and repeated pipette or shaker mixing, which makes it structurally closer to automated or semi-automated laboratories than to routine single-column workflows.

Storage and Stability

RNase A and MagPure Particles should be stored at 2–8°C upon arrival. However, short-termstorage (up to 12 weeks) at room temperature (15–25°C) does not affect its performance. Theremaining kit components can be stored dry at room temperature (15–25°C) and are stable for atleast 18 months under these conditions. The entire kit can be stored at 2–8°C, but in this case buffers should be redissolved before use. Make sure that all buffers are at room temperature whenused. If any precipitates form in the buffers, warm at 37℃ to dissolve. After addition of RNase A, Buffer P1 is stable for 6 months when stored at
