Introduction

MagPure Gel Pure DNA Kit is designed for DNA purification from agarose gels, PCR products and enzymatic reaction systems using magnetic bead technology. The workflow enables recovery of DNA fragments larger than 100 bp without centrifugation or column filtration, making it suitable for both manual handling and automated processing.

Compared with fixed spin-column workflows, this system provides greater flexibility in clean-up format and is easier to integrate into high-throughput laboratory settings. It is commonly used in molecular cloning, PCR product cleanup and general DNA purification workflows where simplified handling and automation compatibility are important.

Principle

The Kit method contains magnetic particles in an optimized binding buffer to selectively bind DNA fragments (>100bp) and larger to paramagnetic beads. Excess primers, nucleotides, salts, and enzymes can be removed using a simple washing procedure.

Storage and Stability

MagPure Particles should be stored at 2-8°C upon arrival. However, short-term storage (up to 24 weeks) at room temperature (15-25°C) does not affect their performance. The remaining kit components can be stored at room temperature (15-25°C) and are stable for at least 18 months under these conditions.
