Introduction
The HiPure Total RNA 96 Kit is designed for high-throughput RNA purification from cultured cells and tissue samples using a silica membrane 96-well column plate format. The workflow enables simultaneous processing of multiple samples while maintaining consistent RNA recovery across large experimental batches.
Following sample lysis, RNA molecules bind to the silica membrane in the presence of chaotropic salts and are subsequently purified through sequential washing and elution steps. The plate-based format supports screening studies, expression profiling experiments and laboratories processing large numbers of RNA samples.
For laboratories performing routine column-based RNA purification with genomic DNA removal, the HiPure Total RNA Plus Kit (R4111) is commonly used. Automated RNA purification workflows can be implemented using the MagPure Universal RNA Kit (IVD3020).
